* What is the meaning of "health food"?

For a specific food that can conform to the following conditions is defined as a health food:

1. It can provide the "special nutritious elements" or possesses specific health-care abilities.

2. It is marked with the specific mark or advertisement of "providing special nutritious elements" or "having specific health-care abilities".

One of the conditions specified above belongs to the "essence"; the other is "behavior". A health food should have both of the basic conditions as specified. Any food that doesn’t possess one of the two conditions won’t be the health food defined in the scope of "Law of Health-Food Management.

According to: "Law of Health-Food Management", Clause 2.

Clause 2: The health food defined in this law means those foods that can provide the "special nutritious elements" or possess "specific health-care abilities" and marked with the specific mark or advertisement. The health food cannot be used for the purposes of curing, correcting human illness.
