What is second-hand smoke
Content:
a) Second-hand smoke consists of more than 4,000 chemical particles and vapor, some of them have higher toxic levels than the main stream smoke that the smoker inhales.
b) According to studies, people who have long exposure to second-hand smoke have 1.5 times larger risk of catching lung cancer than those who are not exposed to second-hand smoke.
Long exposure to second-hand smoke causes as much harm to health as inhaling the smoke directly. Smoking not only causes harm to the smoker, but also to other people.
